Oh boy, that was fast. Glad to see StarsEN regrow their numbers but judging from when they are active on twitter it doesn't look good for eurpean viewers
Definitely wasn't expecting 3 StarsEN gens in half the time it took for 3 HoloPro gens. They must've just gotten so many really good applicants
Europe is just left out to dry when it comes to ~~the big agencies~~ most things coming out of Japan. All we get are indies (not that that's particularly bad but it makes discovering talented VTubers a bit harder)
Edit: yup, debut times are perfect to shaft over Europe again, Cover why must you make us suffer so much
It's weird - seems like a pretty big viewerbase to (basically) ignore. I guess it does make collabs more challenging when there's 3 timezone groups to deal with, but that seems like a weak reason to leave so much on the table so there's gotta be something else there right?
What's even more is that it's a pretty wealthy viewerbase to ignore, west/central Europe has (well in recent times not as much) plenty of disposable income that Cover doesn't take full advantage of. Even with very simple things like shipping, I have plenty of hobby money but when the shipping costs are as much as the stuff I'm buying it does make me rethink the purchase.
Yeah, I never bought anything directly from Cover because of the shipping. When stuff like Pop-Up Figures or Weiß Schwarz packs come out I have no issue pulling out my wallet, but buying something where more than half the cost is shipping… is kind of a turnoff.
Sometimes I wonder of I'm a KFP because I like Kiara more than anyone else or if it's because she's the only one reliably streaming at my time
Biggest reason I was sad to lose Vesper was because of his semi EU friendly morning streams
I suspect management not liking those times was part of the reason he graduated, he did rant about it in some of the earlier streams at least
I think there's a decent chance of that too, may also be behind the 2 weeks suspension where he lost his temper with management over something
