If you bought an Ultra, why did you choose se it over the regular Apple Watch?

When I saw it announced last year, I thought to myself “no one is going to buy that”. I just thought there were too few features that most people don’t need. But now I see them everywhere. I don’t see the appeal of increased battery life being worth twice the price of the standard watch.

Why did you buy the Ultra and is it worth the price to you?

Prove me wrong I guess?

It's a conjunction of factors :

I like to leave my house without my phone every once in a while and would like to have the battery life to do so without worry.
Not going back to aluminum watches after my gold SS S5.
buying a device almost indistinguishable from the previous one felt a little stale.
it's pretty much the exact same price as an SS S9 with milanese loop.

So basically battery life + small price premium vs SS
