Hello everyone, in my house I have an Internet provider that does not allow me to leave the ISP router in bridge, in this situation it uses Pppoe, I was thinking about buying an Edgerouter x to better manage my network, especially in games, I have a 720 /720 speed. Would there be improvements with edgerouter or is it better to connect the game console directly to the ISP's router (I have a fixed IP). Forgive my English, not my native language.

If you can't put it in bridge mode or get a modem only from the ISP, not sure you'll notice a difference. If you are currently on Wifi, then wiring your PC will be best. You can always put a switch after their modem/router if you need more ports for devices. But adding a router will probably not make anything better. The ISP should give you something that is capable of the speeds you pay for, and wiring any device will be best.
