I recently moved into a new apartment with Ethernet ports in every room. There is a central panel where all the cables end up at, and everything is labeled so I know which cable belongs to which room.

There are 17 Ethernet ports in total, but only 2 of them seem to work. I have tried connecting all of them individually, but only in two of them (numbers 13 and 15), the green light turns on on the router (see picture for reference) and I am able to connect to the internet.

Anyone that knows what the issue might be? Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks for the answer! I am only interested in using two of the sockets, one for the TV in the living room and one for my computer in one of the rooms, that's why there are only two green cables connected.

I take that should work, right? Given that the cabling is done correctly.
