My experience is it’s as bad as you fear it will be. I hate any photo with trees or greenery in it especially. The wide angle lens is far from amazing also. I’m actually thinking of buying a dedicated camera as well, because I’m no longer happy with my iPhone shots. I also have a Pixel for work. Overall better photos for sure.
Well dang. That’s disappointing. I recently converted to Mac and wanted to take advantage of the integration. I take a ton of pictures though and don’t want a camera that’s sub par. My current is the s22 ultra, so ideally it would be similar quality.

@Humanbiscuit this is quite painful to read. 90% of my photos are trees/nature, which mostly look ok but not great on iPhone X. I use Camera+ for macros, which is better than native but still horribly unreliable. I was looking at the 14 Pro for better shots, but based on your experience I may hold out & hope for the 15
