That's fine. The main loss at this point is texture/dryness. I like to fry old pizza in olive oil in a skillet, then lid with the heat off for a minute. The steam melts the cheese and it comes back to life.
Airfryer is also great. Similar to this.
My air fryer works harder than my oven these days. I don't even have a microwave at this point.
Exact same. Air fryer used almost every day. My oven only gets used for new pizza and occasionally when family is around so need the extra space. Microwave is used about once a month but only because its there. If it stopped working might not replace it
At this point the only thing I'd use a microwave for is to reheat hot drinks, and even then - doesn't everyone deserve fresh instead?
Yeah just throw them away, you deserve fresh 😀. I have to admit though, we are lazy and use those microwave steam veg bags a lot if having oven food (made in the air fryer of course). Bad amount of plastic but when you're shattered from work and life, we just wouldn't cook the veg parts so would be a beige plate
I tried the AF a few months ago and found it just kind of made the top layer crunchy, so I usually microwave it.
Probably doesn't help the flavour, but it keeps the texture just how I like it.
Guess it depends on the device, for me it is good if there are enough space on the edges so that the air can flow easily below. So the slices have to be small. Then the end result is more even, cheese remolten and the bottom does not get too soft or soggy.
