Oh wow... The smallest file size my camera takes is at least 2mb, does that mean I just can't post pictures for now? I guess I could try to shrink them...
ive been posting big ones on IPFS (a federated file storage network) and linking them. really might be the better way to send files around fedi. Reduces load on instances.
I could put the pictures on Imgur and post the URLs instead. I'm seeing a lot of Imgur links on here lol
you sure can use imgur. also a free account at https://www.pinata.cloud/ or any other IPFS provider will let you use file storage that works similar to the fediverse itself.
