I've started linking to Threads when available. It's faster, cleaner and will integrate with the fediverse in the future.

If we let Zuck get into the Fediverse and federate with everyone we'll end up without a Fediverse soon enough.

Meh. Still rather Threads than Twitter in general.

Agree about the risk with Meta. But that's the point of proper policy making. The reality is Meta brought more people into the "ecosystem" (in theory, since they don't have fediverse up yet) in one day than has existence since it began.

I'd rather have Twitter than Threads even with how much Musk is fucking it up tbh, but to each their own.

Yea, I guess. But Musk is making it harder and harder to to consume the content unless you are a registered paid user so thread makes more sense for aggregation.
