I've been worm farming for over a decade. No issues ever. If you're using a small worm farm, that's where it gets tricky. What @[email protected] says is probably more relevant on the smaller scale, I never worry about anything like that in a larger farm.
I wouldn't make it indoor but I would happily do it outside if your temperatures are fair. Mine are about 2C-44C in the extremes.
How big is your farm? I think outdoors might not me an option for me because the temperatures can drop below zero.
Yeah, we move ours into our glass house over winter. I also made it an insulated jacket out of plasticky padded envelopes and duct tape ๐
It's come through temperatures of -7C that way. The worms will all go deep and huddle to stay warm.
