My old person trait is that I think 'ghosting' is completely unacceptable and you owe the other person a face-to-face conversation.
Gas was less than a dollar per gallon when I started driving.
I remember my bestie in 1995 complaining up a storm at the ridiculousness of paying 45 cents a litre in Ontario, Canada...
