Ehh it wouldn't do much. A b25 bomber actually hit the empire state building in 1945 and the building is still there. It's a much more robust structure than the wtc.
huh, interesting! i did not know about that. admittedly, it sounds like a problem that could be solved by adding more plane to the equation

Wouldn't a modern passenger jet have a much greater impact than a B25? The latter is several times lighter.
