There's a lot of people trying to push Firefox on Lemmy lately.
Not just lately. Feels like it always has been like that.
Use anything else? Clearly youβre an idiot /s
It's not that you're an idiot, but it's wise to avoid using a chromium/blink based browser since they are building a dangerous monopoly. Firefox is the best known alternative, but there are a couple other options.
Falkon is actually also nice. But nobody carws about it so no real addons and only maintenance support.
I have no idea who does QTWebengine, but its good
At least it's better than on reddit where if you dare mention a browser you'll get a few comments about how great Brave is
I use both Firefox and Brave. I'm not sure if that makes me an asshole or not.
I mean its the only FOSS fully customizable and non big-Corp browser that you can harden towards Tor-Browser, use for i2p and so much more
