Title + I know best is subjective but why you prefer your one.

Is there a way to get Element X via fdroid?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Not yet. But you can use Obtanium to get it from github releases.

I wonder why the developers don't create a release for F-droid?

I've tried every Android app out there and Element X is truly the fastest of them all. I'm talking about applications for Matrix, of course.

I hope the application remains fast after adding all the features.

@Slow @solaryth because element x is the dev version of element. You can find element on fdroid. Once it's ready element will become element x, afaik.

Many developers post their dev-alpha-beta versions of applications on various platforms.

I think the fastest application of the old Matrix was Syphon, which was not updated for a long time. But I also used SchildiChat.

The most negative opinion about itself was kept by the application SmalTalk. Despite being minimalist, the size of the application grows larger over time. In addition, the application froze forever during synchronization - I had to delete it and install it again.

@Slow did you see that that's the SC version based on element-x?

Thanks, I didn’t know about this fork. But I think 258 megabytes is a lot for a messenger.
