Attempts at nuanced discussions about topics like the Ukraine war or Taiwan that don't immediately tow the state department line seem to always get dismantled by emotionally charged responses like that.

When I see remarks like this I ask myself, why should I care?

It always come off like an attempt to refuse critical thinking and fall back into a Marvel good vs. evil worldview.

amerikkkan opinions are worthless in the marketplace of ideas - even liberals know that

the thing about the "as a person from x" people is there's like a 99% chance that they're the gusanos of their respective country
