Didn't Yeonmi Park also say that mothers give birth of piles of rubble filled with broken glass and rebar because there's no hospitals or doctors or sanitary spaces in the DPRK?

yeah, and she also said that she has never seen a map of the world when she lived there, even when the intro of the state news channel has a Map of the world

And let us not for forget:

In telling of her escape from North Korea, Park often says she crossed three or even four mountains during the night to get to the border and describes the pain she endured because her shoes had holes in them. However, Hyesan where Park was living is right on the river that divides the two countries and there are no mountains to cross.
