Capitalism I guess. This whole thread reads like paid bots, lol. I'm happy with my free apps and saving the extremely limited money I do have.
Well I'm sorry if you can't afford $5 to support a developer but luckily for you there's free apps for lemmy out there. There's no reason to whine about what other people spend small amounts of money on.
A few people said they paid $120 for an app, lol! Small amounts?
I'm actually using the in-famous 120โฌ app without paying a cent. And I do not see any ad. Moral: people sometimes loves to whine too much.
