Adding to my previous comment about the electoral college state compact:
222 EVs worth of states have already passed bills to this effect. After today, another 61 EVs now have a Dem trifecta in the state government, so if they also join, they would be past the 50%+1 required.

Constitutionally, the states have full control over how they allocate electors, so if Dems want to be cool (lol), they can just ignore the supreme court. State level Dems tend to be better than national ones, especially in red/swing states, so this is something to keep an eye on.
