We know the SWP is controlled opposition, but my district's ballot is just a clown show of Zionists. The choices in my district are this, MAGA, or the AIPAC darlings Booker and Gottheimer. Anyone have decent third parties on your ballots?

This cool guy is running as a Green against one of AIPAC’s top supporters in the DC suburbs, specifically on a pro-Palestine, anti-genocide platform

that dude is cool. i just looked him up, and back in 2011 he had his membership in the National Press Club suspended (this suspension was later lifted by the Ethics Committee) when he attended a press conference and asked an al-Sa'ud Prince / former head of Saudi intelligence a self-described "tough" question. here's the question, which is:

There’s been a lot of talk about the legitimacy of the Syrian regime, I want to know what legitimacy your regime has, sir. You come before us, representative of one of the most autocratic, misogynistic regimes on the face of the earth. Human Rights Watch and other reports of torture, detention of activists, you squelched the democratic uprising in Bahrain, you tried to overturn the democratic uprising in Egypt and indeed you continue to oppress your own people. What legitimacy does your regime have — other than billions of dollars and weapons?

guy was not playing lmao. i bet the apparatus fucking hates him.

On January 16, 2025, Husseini was physically removed from U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken's final press conference after interrupting Blinken's prepared remarks with questions about the United States' handling of the genocide in Gaza and United States complicity in Israeli war crimes in the Israel–Hamas war. As Husseini was being removed, he shouted "Criminal! Why aren't you in The Hague?" (a reference to the International Criminal Court). Husseini reported afterward that he was "carried out and handcuffed", and that he felt that the security team had used "excessive force".
