Affordable vehicles are everywhere. The problem is that people want a massive chunk of affordable metal--- and a multi ton electric powered piece of machinery is a bit questionable to expect to be affordable if you still want to pay workers right.

It's easier to build affordably in countries that have lower costs of paying workers.
