My name is Hala, and I am a mother of three little girls living in Gaza. We have lost our home and our only source of income, and we are now struggling to survive in a worn-out tent that barely protects us.

Winter is approaching, and the rain is coming. Our tent is torn, fragile, and in terrible condition. I am terrified of what will happen when the heavy rain begins. Water could flood our tent, soak our belongings, and leave my little girls sleeping in the cold and mud. I am afraid we will have nowhere safe to turn when the storms arrive.

As a mother, my heart breaks as I watch my daughters living in these conditions, unable to provide them with the warmth, safety, and shelter they deserve. All I want is to protect my children and give them a safe place where they can sleep without fearing that rainwater will flood our tent.
