Rupert Lowe is recognised by a large proportion of the population to be backwards. Unfortunately, a large proportion of the population is also backwards (not a wildly different percentage to the percentage of Iranians that continued to support their government after protests had been violently and lethally suppressed) and somehow think he's great.

You know mossad admitted to having violent agent provacateurs on the ground in Iran during the protests?

Israel also admits to doing cancer research. That doesn't automatically make cancer good, it just means that one of their many enemies also happens to be a bad thing. Obviously, Israel will want to support any enemies of their enemies, and will be willing to force the hand of their enemies in ways that make them look bad on the international stage to make their future attacks more palatable. That doesn't mean that the only people in Iran who don't support the government are Mossad assets.

What violently surpressed protests? Iranians were allowed to protest freely until Zionist armed militias were activated and started killing people with guns. Over 200 Iranian police officers have been killed. How many French police officers were killed?

    I live "there"

many policemen were killed in barbaric ways. one was tortured to death and the "peaceful protesters" that were killing him took his phone and called his family so that they can listen to him die. almost Isis like.

    I don't have a wojack to share.

It's pretty easy to find my real name from my username here and see that it's blatantly of Persian origin. You've jumped the gun with that accusation. It works much better if you point out that I'm overwhelmingly likely to be biased given that people that oppose a country's government are much more likely to emigrate and I've only claimed to have relatives in Iran, as that undermines my point without risking being totally fucking wrong.

I don't know what Persian name AnyOldName3 is a homonym of, but isn't your profile picture that game where you bomb Iran? If memory serves, the first level is running around with a machine gun, doing a terrorist attack in Tehran, firing full-auto past civilians.

Any person blaming the Iranian government instead of the West for the current situation in Iran is either ignorant or trolling.

It's like Miami Cubans saying that Cuba just needs free market capitalism while the US is imposing a blockade on it.

You're putting a lot of words into my mouth. No one's more to blame for the current situation in Iran than the West, but the Iranian government has more than its fair share of what could be incredibly charitably referred to as unforced errors. There are plenty of Iranians living outside of Iran who have such a warped view of the CIA-backed Shah regime that they want his son reinstalled as monarch, which is fucking nuts. That doesn't include any of my relatives.

That's great but Iran is also the main party actually fighting against the Israeli genocide in Gaza and facing the entire West for it.

I'm sure the Iranian government has a lot of faults but the one thing you have to give it credit for is that it's sovereign and not a puppet regime for the USA like Jordan, Egypt and basically everything else in the Gulf.

And the main thing people in Iran are unhappy with are still the prices. The economy. That's why they demonstrated.

The government despite all it human rights abuses is what separate Iran from a functional state to a failed state

Iran’s government has its problems, but its human rights abuses have been exaggerated by Western imperialist states & media for nearly 50 years, ever since their puppet regime was overthrown.

It is unclear either way since the information we get is far too tainted with propaganda in both directions.

What's painfully clear and beyond any doubt is that Iran under the control of the US or Israel would be infinitelly worse than under the current government there - for Israel all we have to do is look at Gaza to see how bad it gets, whilst for the US, well, just start with the around 1.2 million Iraqis that died as a consequence of the US invasion (about 140 thousand directly, the rest indirectly), the still ongoing deaths in Libya after the bombing of it and murder of Gaddafi and of course America's support of the Israeli Genocide in Gaza to name just a few of America's recent actions in the Middle East.

By the way, this is the same logic as to why even Saddam's dictatorship in Iraq was better than the American invasion of it - even in the worst stories about his "murderous regime" were ten thousand Kurds were murdered by him, the death-toll is but a small fraction of the death-toll directly cause by America when it invaded and a miniscule fraction of the broader death-toll caused by the consequences of the invasion and overthrowing Iraq's government.

So to be a better option than whatever the Israelis and Americans are trying to force, all the Iranian government needs to be is a little better than the NAZIs in WWII occupied France, which even they are by a giant margin even if one believes the most wild stories about Iran which are direct quotes in the Western Press of US Republican Administration officials known for lying their asses of.

The depravity of American interventions in the Middle East and even more so of the treatment of non-Jews and even non-White Jews in Israeli occupied areas is so extreme that is vastly exceeds even totally unproven claims about the Iranian government's actions straight from the mouths of people who are overtly enemies of Iran as well as being known for their shameless lying.

Indeed and most of Iran's major problems are caused by West via the economic suppression of Iranians.

The Iranians were protesting against their economic situation which is almost fully caused by Western sanctions.
