But it does sound maddening, very lib to take a fictional account of historical events and then try to give them the Hollywood treatment and then take that Hollywood treatment that bears no bearing on the original whatsoever and use it to fill in the blanks of their black and white "good guys are this team, bad guys are this team" kind of simplistic idealistic great man history thinking. I don't blame you for not wanting to bother, it sounds completely pointless and the sort of things libs make up to sound smart while refusing to actually understand history in the slightest.
