I can’t think of another film that leaves the big reveal until the FUCKING END CREDITS
I mean, sure yeah I guess you could interpret it that way. Although I also felt that it really hit on

How "addicted" our society / system is to fossil fuels, and that it's the life blood of our economic system, and no matter how much we might want to stop pumping oil we cannot help ourselves. But, come to think of it, without a critique of capitalism, that rings kind of holly doesn't it.
In any event, though, I thought it was a great film.
