I wanna be clear, I'd never do that to another person. Ever.
But, with my own face...it seems fitting. It seemed like the right thing to do.

Idk, my face has been called ugly by my own mom so many times during my own childhood (as in, I'm "not smiling" so I must be angry, so "I don't wanna look at your ugly face") and now it's kinda hard to get rid of, you know?

    I'm sorry your mom was so mean to you. I have kids, and I can't imagine what it would take to call my own child ugly. Like my brain blocks it, I literally can't. What a mean person she must have been.

    I hope you get to unlearn it. Please ask yourself why you wouldn't do it to someone else and why those reasons don't apply to you, because from where I'm standing this looks like it could be self-harming behavior.

    She's much better these days ofc, but yeah...that was a big part of my life

    I really hope I can unlearn it, but also...I'm literally full of self-harming behavior and this is nowhere near the worst.
