Hard disagree. The only benefit I can think of from having the shitter and the shower in different rooms would be if you live with many different people and have bad time management.

A wetroom gives you much more open space, and it also has basically everything many people do in the morning: toilet stuff, brush your teeth, take a shower. An added bonus is that it's much easier to clean.
