Hard time deciding what to race as there are so many nice series. I'll probably rotate between GT legends, Lmp3/GT4, F3, Indy pro 2000, GT4, and maybe a little of the new Caddy. Every season i decide i will complete a full season in a single class but i just can't make up my mind since i love driving all the cars i own. Downside is that practice takes longer and quiet often i don't actually race at all because i don't master the car/track combo well enough to my liking. Practice/trackday simulation is nice too sometimes i guess.
I'm in the same boat. I hate jumping into a race if I'm not confident enough on the track, so I end up spending most of my available time (very limited right now due to work and house renos) learning the track and studying my data to try and improve so I'm able to set consistent and decent lap times. I know as soon as I can lap the track without binning it I should jump into races but I definitely struggle getting over that hurdle. I'm racing the F4 fixed right now. My goal this season is to just really learn the car the best I can on all of the tracks this season in practice sessions so next season I've got a good baseline to jump in with and can start jumping into the races nice and early in the week. (unless it's Spa, Interlagos or Brands Hatch, I know those tracks like the back of my hand).
