"If I need to shit, I will go to the toilet, therefore me going to the toilet means I will shit" is wrong logic. You could just be needing to pee. What you are thinking of is "I am not going to toilet, therefore I must not have to shit" which does check out just fine.

Similarly, you can eat snickers down-way as you want. It does not mean you report memes. Tho eating up-way guarantees you don't report memes.
