If you look at the big issues like healthcare, healthy work/life balance and better pay and benefits which supports a healthy economy, it's like 7/10 Dem platform vs 2/10 for gop, of which would help people the best. This is not new, but the propaganda and brainwashing works enough to prevent sustained progress. Of course they can't pass the big bills w/o enough majority and for long enough to maintain the progress, but enough ignore that and swing the other way and it will get worse again.
