yeah anytime i use someone else's computer or phone or whatever and i get blasted with ads i forget just how awful the internet is for most people

The purpose of a boycott is to inflict some economic loss on the target, or to indicate a moral outrage, usually to try to compel the target to alter an objectionable behavior."

This is what I was taught, but if there's a better word I'd love to be informed.
