    Yeah. If it's one person they'll either find a procedural reason to never give them the mic, or let them speak and ignore them, but if there's a significant showing of groups of people they start finding any excuse to sic the cops on a few

    When are people gonna escalate past this? At some point people have to realize all their protests and public comments mean nothing, right?

    I mean they are. its just not quite as widely reported on and necessarily being done in secret since it's, you know, mostly illegal

    flock cameras are vandalized and chopped down every day. a city in MN had every single camera taken in one night over the summer, took the cops like a full day to even notice

    Quite the opposite. It has such a heating effect that they argue it's unsafe to hold further public hearings in person and it has now to be on zoom where they have full control who to give a voice to and when to mute them.
