    Even the Big Bad Wolf can't cope with British NIMBYism.

    He'll huff and he'll puff all he likes but nothing will stop Bernard and Mildred, 78 from organising the blocking of any building or demolition work within a dozen miles of the house they bought for £500 and half a pack of cigarettes in 1965.
