Its putting me off learning to code properly if anything. I'm cripplingly thin-skinned so until recently I only had to deal with elitism from people who already know what they're doing. You ask for help and instead of showing you what is wrong, or give you advice on what to learn first, they just rip you apart using words you've never heard before.

Now you've got people on the other end of the scale looking down their nose at your puny creation. Not because they know the answer to your problem, but because you spent all week trying to do that and they did in 2 minutes bro.
