Why are they so scared of the ICC? Under current US laws as passed by Congress it's illegal for the US to send people to the ICC. And even if Democrats win a bunch of seats I don't see them reversing that law since it passed with bipartisan support.

    Because they ICC is investigating their warcrimes in central and south America. The lead investigator for that case was gunned down in open daylight too.

    They are PEDOPHILIC, TRAITOROUS, NAZIS THAT COUPED OUR GOVERNMENT

    Because other countries have pledged to follow the ICC's rulings. Which means they might enforce arrest warrants issued by the court, and that would put the US in the awkward position of having to invade the Netherlands in order to "rescue" them. It would be much easier for the US, if the court simply didn't exist.

    Probably because the ICC will surely be a component of the prosecution against the regime - assuming the regime can be kicked out of power somehow, with or without violence.

    And the best person to lead that prosecution would be Jack Smith.
