It's never too late to Picross (no really, Jupiter still makes them for Nintendo and you can find them on switch, and you can always pirate them if you have ethical concerns!)

If you want a different flavor, there's also Final Fantasy Pictlogica (also Jupiter made) but the most recent version is a defunct freemium mobile game. Go 3DS emulation for it.

Oh and honorable mention to indie game Murder By Numbers, although I felt like that was more VN than Picross.
