CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Tofu was recalled in 29 states [because] it may be contaminated with ink. According to a recall enforcement report from the Food and Drug Administration, over 10,000 cases of tofu produced by Hodo and sold in 29 states were recalled because they made be chemically contaminated by ink. The specific product affected by the recall is: "hodo CHILI CRISP LIGHTLY FRIED TOFU. NET WT 8oz., UPC 850565007842".

there's probably a way to look at old food recalls, either on the fda website or wayback machine.

there's probably some blogger comparing the current thing to less late stage years

    i know a guy on a discord i'm in who has been posting any food recall alerts he comes across for years, and based on the frequency of his PSAs i don't think these are occurring much more frequently than they were, say, 3 years ago
