I don’t even like being in socks only. Whenever I can I’m barefoot. If you're constantly going in/out, it's a waste of time. And honestly it doesn't make any difference for me - my carpets get just as dirty just as fast whether I take shoes off or not. I still take them off, but since I clean the carpets I know exactly how little difference it makes.
