no hobbies. sad.

nothing expensive, or with an unreasonable learing curve. something easy to start doing that requires little setup so i can pick it up anytime i want

    Also, I hate to say this, but you will likely enjoy something that one of your parents enjoys.

    Obviously stay away from genetically disposed addictions like heavy drinking or gambling, but doing the positive hobbies that one or both of your parents enjoy can let you interact with and understand your parents, which is a good thing now and later in life.

    If you’re in reasonable shape and have the right attitude, regular parkour can be fantastic. My kids had a blast taking parkour classes at local playgrounds: think “the floor is lava” applied to fences, benches, playground equipment.

    You do have to be prepared for some painful falls though, even from ground level.
