no hobbies. sad.

nothing expensive, or with an unreasonable learing curve. something easy to start doing that requires little setup so i can pick it up anytime i want

I'd say a hobby doesn't need to develop any skill, it just needs to have some kind of achievement and progress. Video games are absolutely hobbies, but it's the difference between one with a story that you progress through, and candy crush. (Which doesn't exclude that some people play candy crush to "make progress" on their high score, but most don't)
