He woke up bloodied and bruised. Why won’t ICE tell him what happened?

This doesn't help. It's victim blaming. The marching is the effort. People only have access to what they see and what they hear. If there are no marches, then what most people only see and hear is a curated narrative by the billionaires. The marches show others they aren't alone. If you truly want a progressive uprising, stop being a dick, and encourage those who are trying to win back our country from fascists.

The people are not the victim here, the people are the ones who are guilty this happened in the first place.
USA may be a flawed democracy, but it is still a democracy.
So no this is not victim blaming.

The marches show others they aren’t alone.

Again only excuses. You can march, but that is not enough. There needs to be clear demands, and there needs to be planned actions if demands aren't met.
It's trivial to put up websites that can work independently from the media controlled by the 1%.
That can organize local groups, and states and federal at the highest level.
But nobody is doing anything. Apparently Americans won't sacrifice anything to rescue their democracy and country. 😔

Unfortunately you average Democrat is not your best friend on this issue, they are happily letting everything happen, and some even support it! They hope they will take the next turn, and win the next election by a landslide, and then the pendulum can go on like that forever. Except this may be the last chance for USA to save their democracy.

We are emphatically not a democracy. We are a Republic, and the representatives have gone rogue and have corrupted the current system.

You really have no idea how the US functions, and you're embarrassing yourself with this ongoing rhetoric. What even is your goal here? Is your intention to demoralize the people fighting the fascism?

You fuckin people sometimes... Such big words, but nothing constructive or actionable. Toddlers yelling into the wind...

Pushing the blame doesn't help, but apparently many Americans are reduced to exactly that.
Why would I go to USA to fix your problems, when my friends and family are all here, and I can't vote in USA?
Making that ridiculous statement only shows you know I am right. And you are just deflecting.

What would be your reaction if I claim you should go to Iran and help get rid of their religious government?
It's ridiculous, but somehow Americans think it's some sort of argument when it regards USA?

Cool, in other words you're just a shit talker. To top off it sounds like you're from the fucking EU where half the countries in it are far right anti-immigrant fascists. So where is all this revolution you brave Europeans keep demanding from others?

If I'm a shit talker, you are probably participating in making the world shit for everybody else. I merely ask you to stop that.
USA has only seen the beginning of the consequences for their Psychopathic behavior internationally.

It’s trivial to put up websites that can work independently from the media controlled by the 1%.

And then nobody but a few selected people ever see them because there is also the non-trivial part: actual media reach

Sure you can put the website up, but the 1% still control all the mechanisms used to bring it to the attention of most people.
