I have the same opinion.
I think that as a society, we have become far too dependent on having something playing in our ears at all times, almost as if we're afraid of being with our own thoughts.
When I am out walking, it's just me and the sounds of whatever is happening around me. Don't just hear, but listen to the birds, distant vehicles, a dog barking, wind in the trees, and in this case, a rattlesnake looking for something to nibble on.
