The analogy is a little too nice though, maybe. It'd be more accurate to say they placed an order for "the turd soup that kills brown people, Muslims, and trans people, when I eat it" -- and when they noticed their targets weren't totally annihilated, they asked for a 2nd helping.

It's actually so insane how much of a cult it is, I have long covid and live with maga people who DAILY see me be in bed for 16 hours and barely able to do things while not in bed, and STILL say "covid was just the flu and overblown." I have no explanation besides they're just too bought in at this point.
