It's really annoying to go into each entry for items in my local domain and change the detection to host and do that for every service I spin up.

You can change the default setting for Bitwarden, which works well. If another site changes their login subdomain it can be a bit annoying, but worth it for me for better local domain separation.

This is just from my experience with Bitwarden, but if a site changes it's login subdomain, you will have to search Bitwarden for the last subdomain, go ahead and log in and Bitwarden should ask 'Do you want to update Bitwarden?'

Yep, or I just tell it to auto fill after finding it, and it asks me if I want to save the new domain to the site while auto filling.
