The dude knows how to tell a story. His whole catalog of comics shows that he's a really skilled artist and storyteller, and literally every tiny detail seems to be consciously and meticulously designed.
the painterly style and visual detail is clear, but the composition took me a bit longer to appreciate. subtle stuff
