Worker co-ops? You mean like literally owning the means of production is "Liberal Insanity Shithole" hasan-ok-dude

Okay but quite a few people here would probably point out that co-ops are not actually socialism within a capitalist framework.

Yeah it's the closest thing to socialism on this list, but still not socialism lmao. Literally not one project mentioned on this list of 12 supposedly socialist things is actually socialist. I love American brainrot. Everything is socialism except socialism, which is authoritarian fascism.

Yeah I mean REI is a worker coop that has a contentious relationship with its own labor union. They've been in a multi-year dispute with the Union only until recently I think.

Well my point was moot actually because they are a retail coop not a workers coop.

That doesn't seem like it should be possible even of the worker's coop sucked. You learn something new every day. I'm gonna look that up.

Edit: edited it so it sounds less like im accusing you of lying and more like im confused by this new fact.

Edit 2: Ah. REI is(/was? It's not entirely clear) apparently a consumer coop. Something like the British Coop stores or Coop Norden in Scandinavia. The customers are meant to own a share.
