This has always been one of my favourite Sci-Fi short stories. I love the whimsical nature of it, and also how utterly alien it makes us humans.

Also one of my favorites! I tend to enjoy stories that depict humanity from the perspective of the aliens.

This is also something of a classic in that its been made into many short videos. Some of the best are

(I know, I know. Wtf is with me posting youtube videos in a short story comm? Honestly though, I just see them as part of the original story, with graphics.)
