The word "radical" is always going to include crazy, fringe stuff, but the real point here is that we're not really talking about radical stuff but practical or already occurring things, plus the way Americans commonly mislabel all this stuff.

Reading the words, with the real message and context being different, is my point.

Your first clue was having to frame things in quotes, see..?

#2, ask yourself how many things are actively happening in terms of the Right.

#3, ask yourself how much "radical left" stuff there is perfectly ordinary policy when it comes to pretty much all other real democracies.

#4, notice how the "centrist" is no real centrist, again from a world POV?

Now think about how the stated words are very different from the actual reality, in real-world terms.
