I've always been okay on tomatoes. Found out I fucking love a tomato if it's a good tomato. Home garden is best but it is one of the veggies that is worth paying for the better version. A lot of stuff it doesnt make a difference if you get the expensive organic version, onions is onions for example. Tomatoes are a strong exception. Low quality tomatoes are for salsa and lesser sandwiches. Good tomatoes are for eating raw and really good sandwiches where you buy nice bread

and a single slice of a flavorful and meaty tomato is as close to heaven as I can get in the summer
Blast a bit of flaky salt, some herbs de province and white pepper on a fine heirloom tomato. Or throw that fucker on an everything bagel with either just some garlic oil or vegan cream cheese and fresh greens....madone
