How do I install Linux?
The same way you install any other OS. Find the version you want... Mint, Ubuntu, Debian, or whichever fits what you're looking for, download it and make a bootable disc or USB drive, boot your computer from the bootable media and follow the installation instructions.
What do you think is the best Linux OS?
For me? Whichever one is most beginner friendly. Because i'm a noob with Linux and don't really care enough to put in the time to learn it in depth, so I just want things to work out-of-the-box and have an easy GUI.
For you? Which one is "the best" for you depends on what you want to do with it and what your preferences are. Just do a quick online search and you will find plenty of opinions and recommendations.
