MODERATORS
You could offer "under the table" services and insist on cash-only payments. If elderly or infirm have cars and need to go to appointments, shop for groceries, or other services. You could sit with children or elderly, offer cleaning or cooking services, etc.
Make sure to work for honest, reputable people so you're more likely to actually receive your pay. This may mean more like park or afternoon tea (I know), while being more quiet while offering to wash up after, so you can hear conversations/gossip without asking overt questions.
For example, when I was new in my old neighborhood, I made friends with a local who clearly made no secret of wanting sex, but also didn't try to force anything. I would attend card and dominoes games, barbecues, maybe hit a blunt being passed, but otherwise play on my phone or job search on my laptop, while also listening to what was being said without comment. I also gave him rides for only the cost of gas. I also made sure to be friends with those usually rejected by others. Not too much, but enough, because it was just decency.

I would probably save that as an emergency plan, but that's just me. If you do, I hope you will do everything you can to be safe. Watch anyone offering to be your "bodyguard" for 60%, and don't accept gifts if they aren't clients. And then make sure you know they can always try to pull the "you owe me" shit. If you do, buy weapons and learn to use them with precision.
