For example in 1951 if you had an income of $400,000, every dollar you made beyond that was taxed at 91%. That doesn't necessarily mean they paid that much, but they paid a lot more than they do nowadays. Maybe 30 years after our first trillionaire will get our s*** together again, or maybe not. permalink fedilink source parent
